I first started doing pottery at Findlay Centre in Dartmouth.  Pottery was something Iā€™d always wanted to learn, especially wheel throwing.  I thought I would do it for awhile until I became bored with it but that never happened.  While I was taking those night classes, I came across a library book on throwing miniatures and so I began to throw tiny pots on the wheel.  Then I moved out west and joined a pottery studio and continued to make pottery, both large and small and moved onto stoneware and porcelain.  After returning to Nova Scotia, I joined a miniaturist group and found a market for my mini pots.  It was then that it even occurred to me to sell them online.  They continue to become smaller and finer as I perfect my technique.
