Sue Lowe Henry

I grew up in the beautiful community of Sheet Harbour worked as a nurse and with my husband raised 2 sons. I am a GBS and ruptured brain aneurysm survivor. So art is an outlet of pure peace for me.

I have always been interested and practiced the arts, from knitting to needlework, quilting and the most recent is painting. I started painting less than 2 years ago. I am very fortunate to belong to a local art group led by Sandy Moser. This group has given me friendship, confidence and inspiration. My art would be flat and no depth without them. I paint in acrylics and mostly scenery and objects.

My other passion is sea kayaking, especially of the 100 Wild Islands. I combine my paddling, and photography, with my love of painting. Creating one of a kind acrylic paintings of our beautiful coastline and islands.

I hope you enjoy my work.
